U11s reach semi-finals

YSB U11s finished the Yorkshire 9×9 trophy day finishing as beaten semi-finalists. They drew with Sheffield Clarets 0-0, Derby 1-1 and beat East Riding 3-0 and Leeds ‘B’ 2-0. The heavy rain and cold wind stopped York’s momentum and as a result we failed to play the earlier football which deserved the plaudits from opponents and spectators. York can take heart and confidence from their performances for the season.

Goalscorers were: Hollings 2, Tinker, Myers, Heath and Stamp.
