U11s Yorkshire Cup Day @ Sheffield Sat 18th Feb – Details
Participating Teams
League A : York, Sheffield, Leeds ‘B’, Barnsley [4 teams]
League B: Leeds ‘A’, East Riding , Scarborough, Nottingham, Eastwood [5 teams]
Please note that LEAGUE ‘A’ STARTS AT 10.00 AM & LEAGUE ‘B’ AT 9.30 AM
- In League A the matches will be 25 minutes and in League B they will be 20 minutes
- 3 points win, 1 point for a draw
- Leagues final positions: goal difference then goals for, then goals against, then score in the game between the two teams involved and if still identical a sudden death penalty shoot out will take place
- In the finals and semis-Golden goal extra time will take place if scores are level
- Maximum 14 players in a squad
- 2 trophies at stake…Yorkshire Cup, Yorkshire Supplementary Cup. Winners and Runners Up into the Yorkshire Semis, 3rd & 4th into the Supplementary Semis
- Rolling Substitutes
- Four pitches…. League A on Pitch 1 and Pitch2, League B on Pitch 3 and Pitch 4
- Tea/Coffee, soft drinks etc available on site
- Please respect the grounds…TAKE WATER BOTTLES ETC TO THE BIN AND DON’T LEAVE STREWN AROUND.
- Do not wear boots in changing areas
- It is a 4G surface please wear appropriate footwear
POINTS TO CONSIDER
- Not all possibilities are covered by the rules above. Please be charitable when it goes wrong.
- If you can suggest any improvements to the tournament we should like to hear them.
- Catch-up time has been added into the programme but please be prompt starters.
- If two Associations are willing and able to play before official start times they may do so providing referee agreeable.
The presentation of all trophies and medals should take place after the games have finished.
