York completely dominated their Yorkshire League clash against Scarborough running out 8-0 winners. Goals flowed from the start and but for a lack of concentration in front of goal this could have been double figures.  York welcomed new boy Harry Bissett to the squad and he made a significant contribution with two goals and some strong approach play. Jack Atkinson followed up with a second hat-trick after his exploits at Hull matched by Kain Rogerson who also bagged three. Despite the forward quality it was left-back Jack Leeming who was nominated as Man of the Match for a very composed display of defence and attack. York are in league action again at the weekend as they welcome Leeds to the University for a 10.30am kick off.
